Jonty was a sound , well coated dog with a delightful exuberant temperament. He was the first Dalheath to gain his show championship, his ring successes include:

• Runnerup Best In Show - Queensland Border Specialty
• Multi In Group & In Show awards including NSW Border Specialty
• Royal Class wins and places - Sydney and Canberra
• Placings in Property classes - Best Headed and Coated.

Jonty successfully competed in Obedience, Jumping & Agility. He was part of Sydney Royal's Mass Obedience Demonstration for seven years. Being the 'show off' that he was, he enjoyed it immensely.

He was the sire of the First Border Collie National  'Opposite Minor In Show'  winner  Dalheath Lady In Lace ' Lacey'
